Join us in celebrating The Linda Hall's 80th anniversary with the launch of The Linda Hall – A Visual History, a new book that brings the Library’s remarkable story to life through photographs and archival images.

Whether you're a longtime supporter, a lover of science and history, or simply curious about one of Kansas City’s cultural treasures, this special anniversary event offers a unique opportunity to reflect on eight decades of discovery, scholarship, and community.

The program

Emmy Award-winning host Nick Haines from Kansas City PBS will moderate a panel discussion featuring contributors to The Linda Hall – A Visual History. The panelists will explore memorable moments, behind-the-scenes stories, and the people who have shaped The Linda Hall over the past eight decades.

Copies of The Linda Hall – A Visual History will be available for purchase at the event.
