Join the kickoff of the Linda Hall Library Arboretum Spring BioBlitz, a two-week community science event running from April 11 to 25, 2026.
This project invites nature lovers of all ages and experience levels to explore the wild side of our urban arboretum. As an added bonus for attendees, a naturalist from Burr Oak Woods Nature Center will be at the Library with live animals!
Participants will document wild species only, including insects, birds, mammals, and fungi found on the Library grounds. Whether you're here for the kickoff day or submitting observations on your lunch break, your contributions help us understand and protect local biodiversity.
